Is it normal to hate people that wear pajama pants and or blankets in public?

I think it's the most revolting thing someone can wear. It just looks so lazy and I even see some people go so far as to carry a pillow around too! Get some pants on and wear a jacket if you're cold. Are you really that lazy?Am I normal to think this?

Well who died and made you fashion police? How about instead of worrying about other people who want to be comfortable you put your efforts into something less trivial? Honestly, if people wanna wear something, that's their prerogative and no business of yours anyway.

  • i only ever wear my pj's out to the garden and who made you in charge of what people can wear, but i agree about the pillow and blanket they are to much unless you are a kid and want to bring them out to the garden to sit on in the sun.
by the way its trousers not pants pants are underwear.

I first noticed people, mostly females, doing this in the mid 2000's. I wasn't very fond the trend. I thought it was silly.

I have no qualms about wearing pajama pants out in public. It's a rare-ass occasion that I feel mentally stable enough to even get out of the house, and when I do go out, it's only for half an hour- an hour. I'm not going to dress up for a half-hour trip to the store.

yeah, usually lazy mums let their kids go to the shop in bed clothes, trashy. Once I crashed at a mates who lived above a shop and after being wasted the night before went down in my boxers and t shirt for a food and water at 6am.

I wear VS pink sweats all the time... And this is coming from a person who wasn't allowed to wear jeans in public school for four days a week due to a particular class. So on fridays? HELL YEAH I wore my vs sweats if i felt like it.

No that's not pjs but I do wear those sweats to bed at times. Same difference. So I think hates a little strong of a word for it. Slighly weird.

  • I'll wear sweatpants to an airport because I feel like they're more comfortable than jeans to sit in on a plane for hours, and I'll take a blanket to my bother's soccer games if it's really really cold out. Other than that I think it looks lazy, too.

  • I wish people didn't find it so unattractive. It's really, really comfortable.

Not normal to "hate" anyone. Just the behavior. On that case, I'm with you on pjs in public

  • O gosh same!!!!! I hate it! It's like all they wear at my school and I'm like Jesus....do u have maybe 5 minutes to get dressed? It's incredibly lazy and unsophisticated. Talk about a bad first impression. Sweat pants and pajamas were meant for sleeping and exercising because they look bad and they're ugly.

It is very convenient at an airport. When I have to travel the first thing I think about is how comfortable I'd like to be.
I don't think it is very prevalent but I think some do it just because they know they can. When I was in high school I would do those very things because I thought I was 'different' and 'free-thinking'. It is silly now but it got me the attention I wanted nonetheless.

I wouldn't say it's revolting, people can wear what they want and there's no need to be pissy about it. It's very lazy but also very comforable, I have never done it but that dosent mean I never will.

You are right I work at a large airport and see this daily. It is not normal to me but it is a fact of life

I've worn pajamas to the store to pick up baby formula, prescriptions etc ... Get over it. Now if they wear them out to bars, social gatherings, or to work ... That's a little much.
