Agreed! We live in such overcrowded, polluted, toxic environments, physically and mentally, that it's no wonder something so exquisitely sensitive to many levels of consciousness should end up causing us problems. And then we call it "the curse" just to compound the issue! The doctrine of original sin has created a severe wound in the collective psyche in my opinion.
