Psychiatrists are for mental illness, not for valid doubts about the existence of a deity, so I'm glad you're now free of them and their psych drugs.

Being a athiest in my opinion is also a form of belief into having faith that God dosent exist. Which puts you at the same level of faith that there is a God. While not on a name basis you do have faith in the fact that there is no God. Faith because you can not prove he doesnt exists yet you believe.
That's why agnostic is the best most logical choice of belief. The true third choice in life.

My lack of religious belief has been arrived at over a period of years following a fundamentalist xian upbringing, by using my reason: faith by definition has nothing to do with reason and is all to do with accepting something without evidence.
Your last sentence has a ring of authoritarianism: you have no more evidence regarding the "truth" of agnosticism than do those who believe in deities of any description.
