Is it normal to hate comic books for this reason

Most comic book stories and other kids action series seem to focus mainly on the "good guys" fighting "criminals" in a black-and-white scenario, which basically just means they're pro-police propaganda for young kids. They couple it up with schools teaching kids that police are our "real life superheroes" and now we have a bunch of apologists defending every cop that shoots a person unecessarily because they were "criminals"

You might want to find out the facts behind some of the stories you've been told about people who've been shot by cops. There have been some cases of wrongdoing by cops in this way, but the vast, and I do mean VAST majority of these cases are of cops shooting someone who presented a real danger to public safety. There is a lot of grossly irresponsible lying going on, to get people like you angry so people like them can get power. Seek the Truth. Find out the Facts. When you hear a story like this, actually seek out the story from the other side. You might be surprised at what you find.

    • I get my information from dealing with actual cops in real life. They are arrogant obnoxious assholes who get the job to bully people and think they are above the law.

That's a big generalization, buddy. Just remember, nobody else is going to help you if a thief robs you.

That's a brave opinion you have there...if it was 1995. Comics have forced tons of political rhetoric onto their readers, but you seem to be reading old books. If anything, modern comics are left-wing, pro-SJW, pro-feminism and pro-BLM.

One thing that hasn't changed: they put the messages in there for a reason. Those reasons used to be obvious, like pro-war propaganda. Those reasons are less obvious and apparent now, but you're naive if you think they aren't there.
