Is it normal to hate cats

You hate an animal because it doesn't care about you..wow. Sorry to break it to you but most animals don't care about you, humans included.

I like them cause they're independent and can bond affectionately with humans without actually needing us.

A lot of people don't like cats. I personally adore them. I have a fat orange tabby that is the biggest mush ball ever. He loves to be held and he's very friendly and affectionate. It really depends on each cats personality. Yes of course, some can be mean and selfish, but not all. :)

Sure some cats can be evil but so can some dogs and some of any animal. All your comments are false for most cats. If you know how to look after a cat and treat a cat they can and often are very lovely, loyal and kind pets to own. Too many people are ignorant about how you should look after a cat and treat it and when the cat does not like them blame the cat instead of take responsibly for them not treating the cat in the correct way.

if their outside cats they know how to hunt for themselves. but why waste engery hunting when there's a free meal you can have by simply looking cute and meowing at a human?

Yes it's normal. Some people hate dogs, others hate birds - just how it is.

As someone who's job is literally taking care of dozens of cats, I can't relate. At all. So I'm gonna have to say "not normal" especially since I have cats myself that are not the way you describe.

cats are amazing and not all are ass holes because it depends how well and how much time the owner takes care of the cat. i have three cats and there all super sweet :)
