Is it normal to hate catholic priests?

I live in a religious Roman Catholic country. But gosh, I just have this hate against Catholic priests. Does it make me a bad person?

No. That doesn’t make you a bad person.
You can feel however the heck you want to feel. It’s only when you act upon that hate does it make you a bad person.

i actually thought they were christians but then i found out the pagan romans took the pagan religion and married it to christianity and created a holy father called a pope that just so happened to be a Ceasar. And in that way they survived hidden inside the religion. to this day a muslim will not kill a catholic some secrete alliance exists.

Priests bad? Catholic nuns are the most foul, perverted, brainwashed, sadistic, despicable, hateful, and wicked people there are. The nuns of parochial schools usurp the stenches of hell.

I don’t know if this is true but I heard rumors about some catholic priests sleeping with nuns. A friend of mine who is a catholic even heard a priest say a bad word.

Catholics have done all sorts of crimes in the past. In the 17th Century saw the infamous the deadliest religious war in history, 30 years war, an intersect war between Catholics and Protestants that killed nearly 15 million people an amount similar to WW1 which is astonishing given the then lower population and less sophisticated weapons. The Catholics used to prosecute innocent people. They imprisoned Galileo just for saying the Earth rotated around the sun (they used to think the illogical that the sun and other planetes rotated around the earth). they burned to death countless innocent women, who they considered a bit "deviant" in the name of with burning, like they did to the celebrated female soldier Joan of arc. However after the 30 years war, papacy fell and Catholic churches started to lose power, radical Christianity begin to decline. Today Christians are less violent and more peaceful than ever before, mainly because they are mostly non religious or closet atheists, few of them hardly go to churches anymore or even read the Bible a single day of their life. Muslims on the other hand remain violent and carry out all sorts of crimes in the name of religion. Still catholic priests are fuckeed up (look up all the recent sex abuse scandals theyve been involved in), but all religions are, and a world without religion would be a better place. But i must say the only true peaceful religion in the world is Buddhism...

Many people believe Buddhism is the only truly peaceful religion, but to believe that, you have to ignore the recent histories of Sri Lanka, Myanmar and many other places.

You were closer to the truth when you said all religions are fucked up.

I think that's just push back to the violence of Islam. Essentially societal self defense.

Sad to admit, but after seeing that I agree with you, the world will be more peaceful with no religion at all!

I dislike organised religion in general, I view all religious ministers and priests with great suspicion, and the Catholic Church is high on my list of organisations I detest.

Having said that, hate is an emotion that does far more harm to the person who hates than it does to the thing or person hated.

Some priests are wicked and chose the job because of the power it gives them over others. Some priests are in the job because they're incapable of doing something more useful and productive. Some priests chose the job because they're deluded enough to believe that an invisible sky-fairy telepathically asked them to do it. Some priests went that route because of family pressures. And there are some who truly believe all the Catholic BS mythology and believe that being a priest makes them a force for good in the world.

Try not to judge people by the uniform they wear or what they say, but rather by what they actually do and the impact they have on the lives of those around them.

I think you are to specific.
    If all religion was ended.
The world would be a lot better off.
