Is it normal to hate an aunt

She refuses to care for her mother who had a stroke. In fact, she took $20K out of her social security to buy drugs. Is she an entitled Millennial? No, she’s almost 60. And she makes over $150K a year.

She’s called my mom the “C” word. Threatened to sue my sister for falling on her driveway. The last time she was over our house, basicallly sobbing to let her live with us, she bought her flea-infested dogs, which made our pets sick. When we took out for dinner, she made us look like white trash. I think she is scum.

What used to really bug me was all the slobbering, kissing, and hugging. Stop slobbering all over the kids, they hate it!

Don't let her live with you and stay away from her. Doesn't sound like anyone who deserves your respect or attention.

How could she steal from the grandma when she makes that amount of money? I'd be looking to sue her.

    • Some people are vile and truly deserve to be hated. Your aunt sounds like another vermin.

To answer your question on why she stole from our dying mother, she wanted the money before her siblings could get to it bc she claims she helped her aunt raise them. And she spends way out of her means to help her “depression.” It was entitlement. And I’m somewhat flabbergasted that her other siblings do exceedingly little to care for their mother. They’re all spoiled garbage to me. And they even try to guilt us to care for her, while we care for our dying loved one.

Wow... yknow, if I were you, I'd care for the grand/mother until she sadly passes and then just wash your hands of them. They sound completely toxic and like they'd do anything to get over on you.

People like that destory other peoples' lives, they are dead weight and you need to be ruthless and cut them loose.

        • BTW, her mother is my great aunt, not my grandmother. My grandmother has memory issues as well.

        • I agree

Isn’t it funny how weve been told to act like adults, but this is the way they behave?

  • Are you in a position to ditch her? Sounds like the kind of selfish, manipulative person who ought to be left on her own.
