Is it normal to hallucinate when fainting?

last year i fainted in the bathroom when the door was locked. i don't live alone but i collapsed before i could open the bathroom door. I'm sure it happened because of dehydration.

but what i remember when i blacked out was having a weird vision of me being in my bedroom playing video games on a laptop with my sister. there was not a lot of color (like how we see color everyday) except for red. it seemed to last for 2-3 minutes before I woke up and found myself in the corner next to the bathroom door and shower wall.

is this normal or has anyone else experienced this before?

I've only passed out a few times, but it's always been just an abrupt fade to black and then waking up thinking, "What the fuck?"

I suspect what you experienced happened in the moments just before you returned to consciousness as your brain was rebooting and you shifted from deep unconsciousness into that just below conscious phase we're in when we dream. The perception of time when dreaming is completely doolally, so it's possible you were in that state for just a few seconds.

I have fainted 2 times in my life. I was simply there, then I wasn't. For me it was nothing but black

The first time I fainted I had a dream. I'm pretty sure you just had a dream while unconcious.
