Is it normal to go to the movies by yourself?

So I recently got MoviePass which means I can see unlimited movies in the theater basically for 10 bucks a month. Since I don't need to pay for the ticket, there's a whole bunch of movies I want to see that maybe other people don't. I thought about going by myself, but I don't know if that looks pathetic or whatever. I know I've seen other people doing it and I certainly don't judge them, but I'm just not sure how normal this is. So is it normal to go to the movies by yourself?

    If you go alone you will be able to watch the movie without someone whispering in your ear about the plot line or someone else sat next to you munching loudly on popcorn. Sounds good to me.

    I see lots of people alone in movie theaters, especially during matinee show times. Bring your own candy bars to lower the cost.

    It's normal, although it took me years to make myself go to a movie by myself and I still don't do it very often. I prefer to go with someone I can talk to about the movie afterwards, but if I want to see the movie enough I go alone

    If I had friends, I would decline a movie invitation. Because of Netflix I have the attention span of a 3-year-old.

    No, I don't think it's normal. I mean, come on people, it's great that so many on here are trying to be supportive and everything, but going to the movie theater is usually a group or couples activity. I'm not saying it's wrong of you to go alone, but it's not normal in my opinion.
