Is it normal to go out as little as i do?

I don’t normally like going out. The places I go most often are either the movies or the book store, but most of my time is spent at home playing on my phone or reading books. I’ve been like this for a while, I haven’t been to a friend’s house in over five years, and I never had a girlfriend, nor do I want one. The strangest and most annoying part was that my classmates used to tease me about this. It stopped after a while, but I seriously had classmates from all the way back in 5th, 6th, and 7th grade berate me on what I do, and when they realized I never had a girlfriend and I liked to play video games they acted like it was the most shocking thing ever, some even bullied me and used homophobic slurs, although it didn’t often go that far. I’m just really introverted and I’m baffled that kids that young made such a big deal out of something so stupid.

The Internet was down the other day so I decided to go outside. The graphics were awesome but the game play sucked!

I wouldn't say it's a bad thing; reading books is good for the mind. I don't go out that much but only because my closest friends have moved further away. I do go to exercise classes a couple times a week though. If you want to get out more, look for activities in your area. Or if going out is too much strain on you, no need to push yourself.

The world is full of shitty people. Me and my girlfriend like to avoid those people and prefer to play games together throughout the day.

It's totally fine. People like us just don't like going outside. If I go outside, I'm either getting a nice bite, go somewhere particularly fun or need to do something important like work or groceries.

Most of our spare time is spent inside, together and were enjoying every bit of it.

Coincidentally we met because of this very preference. We met in a lobby on GTA and if I didn't like games so much, I would've never met her in the first place.

Just know dude that it's perfectly normal. The hell with the people who voted no.

They don't seem to understand that it's just a matter of preference, and the people who voted no are also the people who most likely have an outgoing lifestyle and aren't used to indoor types of lives.
