Is it normal to get too depressed to take your anti-depressants

I know I know, prescription drugs aren't cool. I've been trying to wean off them but seriously been too depressed to take em at all lately. I mean I've felt this way plenty of times before so it's not just the coming off that's causing it, I was just now wondering if it's normal or anyone else has some experience with it. Plus, the mania from cold-turkey withdrawal is pretty great.

Yes, I did this for a while when I was on AD's as well. Never got that "mania" you describe from withdrawing, instead I just felt like shit :/

You don't have to apologize for or justify why you need to take antidepressants. I think it's rather common for people to not want to take psychiatric medications or what to stop taking such medications because of unpleasant side effects.
