If I were you I would make it clear as possible to my significant other that I don't want kids. I think it's unhealthy when a person assumes that that he or she can change another person's mind. I think it would be ideal if you could find someone you love who would accept you whether you wanted kids or not, or rather someone flexible about the issue of children.
Yes, that'd be ideal. But every guy I meet is gung-ho about eventually have a family. Which I don't mind because I'm not remotely thinking of settling down.
