You have it backwards. 'Planned parenthood' is for irresponsible people who made bad decisions. In the West we are considered responsible if we do NOT procreate
No it's not. They actually prevent a shit ton of abortions by offering reasonably priced or free access to exams and birth control. Abortions make up a tiny percent of the services they offer and many locations don't even offer abortions.
I admit I don't know the statistics on that, but I've done a lot of volunteer work with PP on both the West and East Coasts. The centers I'm familiar with do tremendous education outreach. The majority of girls my age visiting the centers I've worked at are getting tested, picking up info, speaking to counselors about what NOT to do, and exploring options about lifestyle changes if they have kids.
