Is it normal to get randy when im sick and high on cold medicine....+++

I don't really care for sex.
But I get sick a lot and I take lots of day and nyquil and I want to make love with guys that have crushes on me. I didn't realize what this feeling was when I take nyquil especially I would take it even when I'm not sick. When I do I realize I want to be had away with.... IIN??? Or thoughts opinions??

Is It Normal?

  • There used to be a cough medicine here with a picture of a nurse on it. For the daytime one, with stimulants, her face was coloured orange. For the night-time drowsy one, she was green.

"Green-faced nurse" became a euphemism between me and the girl I was with because whatever was in that medicine made me friskier than a sexaholics anonymous meeting.

  • Personally, I think it's because having a cold makes your mucus membranes overproduce, not because of any medicine.

  • Nyquil contains Acetaminophen (Tylenol), Doxylamine Succinate (think something like Benadryl), and Dextromethorphan AKA "DXM". The DXM is the good stuff. It's a potent dissociative, in the same vein as Ketamine and PCP, though not as strong.

It is a bit strange that you get randy when on it though. As I said, it's a dissociative. You don't feel things the way you normally would. When I'm on it I don't even think about sex, and touching flesh (even my own) just feels very strange, and not in a good way. Frankly I've never tried, but I'm not sure it's even possible for a male to get an erection on the drug, or for either sex to achieve orgasm.

If you like the drug though, I urge you to be safer about it. Those other chemicals could easily make you feel like shit, or even hurt/kill you. Next time you're out shopping for pharmaceuticals, check out the "Active Ingredients" list. If it says ANYTHING other than JUST "Dextromethorphan" on it, avoid it. Sometimes they add initials such as "HCI" after the word "Dextromethorphan". I'm not entirely sure why, but these are fine.
