Is it normal to get grossed out by an aunt and uncle calling each other, "lover" ?

My aunt goes around calling her husband her lover and he does the same. My stomach is queasy just writing about this. They seem to say it at any given moment. Is it normal for older people to use this term?

      Being a bit presumptuous here, I'm afraid. Long ago, as an immature 14 year old, I thought the absurdity of grandma porn was absolutely hilarious.
