Is it normal to feel your heart beat in your stomach?

It makes my stomach pulsate, is this a everyone has it thing and everyone thinks it's weird so they keep it private?

I'm assuming this is either as a result of physical exercise or anxiety: whichever is the cause, stop whatever you're doing and do some deep breathing.

If you're feeling your heart beat for no obvious reason, that can be what's called palpitations and you should probably check it out with your doctor.

    • I was neither exercising nor having anxiety issues, though I am prone to anxiety attacks. I was in a state of rest.
