I think it can be normal to feel that way. I take an antipsychotic at a higher dosage. At first, it was to stop my mind from going "places", but it was complicated. My experiences from the meds were a dry mouth, weight gain and tiredness. I believe it helped me sleep because it blocked my thoughts.
The weight gain side effect has been a concern of mine. Is it weight gain that comes on no matter what you do in terms of exercise and diet or does it leave you feeling hungry and more prone to overeat?
