Is it normal to feel uncomfortable when someone asks you borrow things?

I guess that sounds like I'm a pretty selfish person but guess I'm not cuz happens mostly with things like gamming stuff, gadgets, devices, etc... expensive things. Dunno i have the bad experience since I was a child that everytime I borrowed something they broke it... and nobody took care of it. It is normal not to trust others?

Well, protective is fine. The real problem rests on those without shame of mooching.... Sure, iit starts harmless... A game, a cd, a movie.... A girlfriend..... Then it it escalates into underwear, tampons,..... Your mom! Hahaha

Somebody has to draw the line! LMAO

Of course! I had a friend who would always "permanently borrow" people's money. Nobody lets her borrow from them anymore because she already owes at least $50 total that'll never be paid back.

YES!!!!! I have a tendency to do this. How i've gotten over it was to put less value and less 'self esteem' in items and focus more on important relationships and friendships.

If you afraid the thing will be broken or not returned you can always say no. It's ok.

you dont have to lend anything out to anyone if you dont want to. i dont lend out things like that either because they either come back broken or not at all. especially books. its not selfish at all.
