Is it normal to feel that this is weird?

Sometimes, all of a sudden, I'll think it's really weird that something can continue to exist when I'm not there to watch it or when I'm not even thinking about it. Like the way people on the other side of the world, that I've never even thought about the possibility of existing, do exist and continue to go around doing stuff.

What really gets me though is something like how a particular cubic inch of stuff, at a random distance buried down inside the middle of a random star, in a distant galaxy, can continue to go about its regular processes without me there to acknowledge it and think about it.

It really amazes me sometimes. (And no I'm not stoned!)

    Deep thinking. I read a theory that nothing exists unless someone was observing it. Sort of like Schrodingers cat. I love physics and theories. :)

    If noone ever stopped and thought about these things, none of the great philosophies or even scientific discoveries would ever have been made. To discover something... I guess you got to imagine it first....
