Is it normal to feel random urges to make a random sound?

I am diagnosed with a generalized anxiety disorder and ADD. With anxiety comes involuntary movements that I have some but little control of, such as shaking my leg and flicking my wrist. I never considered these to be tics as I am not diagnosed with a tic disorder. I feel I have more control over these movements than someone with a tic disorder might have over their tics. I never had verbal responses to anxiety.
Recently, completely unrelated to anxiety, I've felt these urges to make this certain sound thats squeaky and comes from the throat. I have control on either or not I make these noises but I feel it building up if I focus on it and don't act on it. I just wanted to know if this was a normal thing normal people experience of if I need to pay more mind to it and try to find the reasoning behind it. Thank you!

Possibly Tourettes, although I experience the exact same thing but I don't have Tourettes, only Aspergers

You sound like an oppressed soul because your parents never gave you enough space. I just want you to be yourself for a whole day
