That's good, then. You seem to have a realistic and positive view of yourself, and I think that's lovely, to be honest. I wish more people felt that way. It is a gift to feel self assured. I am in some ways, but not in others...confidence in yourself is a very, very powerful thing, and a gift in my opinion. You are lucky to have it, and I hope you do good things with it....and, seriously, don't let other people make you feel bad for feeling good about yourself. That would be retarded

And I want others to see the beauty in themselves and I hope you will. :) You're right that confidence shouldn't be just the result of being satisfied with merely the physical surface. I do have an obsession with beauty/aesthetics in general, people, music, nature, minds even, but I guess since I don't think it actually defines the worth of anything, I can keep the obsession. ^^ This made me question myself, so that's cool.
