A lot of people will give you shit about feeling confident. When someone expresses confidence about their looks, a lot of people will tear them down. I think it's good, and honestly refreshing, to hear a woman talk about being happy with her body.
Having said that, it isn't normal to think of yourself as a goddess, or to think yourself superior to others. If you do this, based on your looks, you're in for a rude awakening. All of that will fade. There will always be someone younger, better looking. Your beauty is temporal; hopefully your confidence is not.
You need to focus on bring a good person, as cliche as that sounds, because if your entire notion of self is based on your looks, then what will you have when that goes?
It's good that you feel happy with your exterior. I wish more people felt the same, but if you want to hang on you're gonna need something else to go off of.
That's a reflected answer, however I don't just like myself for my looks, but people would give me even more shit if I went into the other things even more. xD
As for that whole goddess-thing: I don't have degrading thoughts towards others, I appreciate beauty in general and would love to see others feeling this way, I wouldn't think they're inferior to me. I feel like because I am who I am for a reason, I am the most beautiful female to myself. If that makes any sense. I don't think it's the objective truth.
I guess I'm prepared for growing old because I also think old people can be beautiful. ^^
That's good, then. You seem to have a realistic and positive view of yourself, and I think that's lovely, to be honest. I wish more people felt that way. It is a gift to feel self assured. I am in some ways, but not in others...confidence in yourself is a very, very powerful thing, and a gift in my opinion. You are lucky to have it, and I hope you do good things with it....and, seriously, don't let other people make you feel bad for feeling good about yourself. That would be retarded
Thanks a lot. :) I'll make sure I keep up my positive attitude. And I want others to see the beauty in themselves and I hope you will. :) You're right that confidence shouldn't be just the result of being satisfied with merely the physical surface. I do have an obsession with beauty/aesthetics in general, people, music, nature, minds even, but I guess since I don't think it actually defines the worth of anything, I can keep the obsession. ^^ This made me question myself, so that's cool. Good luck :)
IIN to feel outstandingly beautiful?
