It's just this intense connection with that person. For me I've only felt a spark after sharing something personal with someone or having them open up to me. I've felt a spark with friends but I'm completely straight, it's just like a heightened love for that person in that moment. I'll sit their silently and then we'll hug and it feels deeper than that. Almost like seeing someone you haven't seen in so long and all those feelings hit you all at once.
Maybe you just haven't let yourself open up completely to the idea of letting someone in.
