It's really not that easy cutting him off my life like that I sometimes wish it was that easy since he makes my head hurt a lot by his words and actions.
It's not about whether or not it's easy to break with him, it's about how you're feeling about him and the relationship in general. Maybe as a possible first step you could at least create some distance, focus on other interests in your life for a while and see what happens.

I've been doing but I miss sex with him for some reason so therefore I contact him but not just for sex but to catch up on him and hang out.
