  • you aren't trying hard enough. that is a job out there for you. Sit your parents down and ask if they could get you a car so you can drive you work. However, you have to pull your end and ACTIVELY search. Time to start fluffing up that resume and go to the mall and personally hand them out to managers.

Perhaps you could sign up for some community college courses about what interests you.

    • I should have made myself clearer. I do take trains and buses everywhere. I have updated my resume three times already. My parents are divorecd and I live with my mother and brother. They both don't drive. Also, I do search for jobs. On average of 5 per week, that's 20 per month. Every place I ask in the city or in another mall I go to say they are never hiring. I did go into an interview for a fast food chain and I was accepted for a trial, but I couldn't handle the food properly (it's a long story). Don't get the wrong impression that I am never trying. I'm trying to apply for Big chain stores as well, like Kmart and Target. I said in my cover letter that I am willing to perform manual tasks like heavy lifting, have no problem working in teams or unsupervised.

So I'm not just doing nothing about job seeking. Also, I applied for this organization that is meant to help me find work. I said that I wanted a job in retail, all they offered was a position for part time volunteer in a soup kitchen nowhere near where I live. On top of that, I have to go in there two days a week for no reason at all other than to fill out usesless forms saying which jobs I have been looking for, as if it mattered to them.
