Is it normal to feel jealous seeing my friends getting into relationships ?

I'm a guy , 21 yo right now, and I had my break up 4 years ago . I've been single since then and decided to concentrate on my academic career rather .
But I've this weird nature, whenever any of my close male friends gets a girlfriend, I feel very angry, sad and jealous . I even stop talking and start avoiding them . Even romantic films and songs irritates me . Is it normal or do I need counselling ?

    This reminds me of my former fat friends who would stop talking to people whenever that person lost weight. They were also very angry, sad, and jealous. It's normal to feel a certain way. It's not normal to let it take over to the point of ditching people and being irritated over little things like songs and movies.
