The state I live in has gotten so bad. Shopping malls people bump into you and don't say excuse me. Or some simple thing like walking. Suppose to walk on the right, right? Well today I almost got run over by someone who refused to move to the right. I stood my ground because this happens all the time (I'm tired of always being the courtious one). She bumped into me and gave me a look while chatting on her phone. No one ever smiles back. I'm tired of being glared at when I smile at people. I don't want to be like them. It does seem that most people are very into themselves and feel entitled to do or say or receive what they dam well want.
