  • Hahahahahaha. I meant to get back to this because I truly loved this book, but IIN is so meh lately; just random racist shit and tomes that Republicans write about kid dicks cause they're so worried about trans people hacking them off. They're really hyper focused on kid dicks. I usually don't spend all day thinking and typing about kid dicks.

And yes, you can't not love oly. That's the point. The question you answer when you pick up the book is, "do you want to see the freakshow?" You know freakshows are morally wrong, but you're curious, and you know what you're in for as soon as you hit lil's drug experiments and the baby jars, but you can't put it down (because you want to see the mf freakshow), and you're meant to love oly so you get absolutely eviscerated by all of the absurd final conclusions to everyone's compulsory reasons to see the freaks and their motivations. Fetishizing the freaks (the twins end, mary and her strip shows); glorifying and identifying with the freaks (Arturo and his cult); the condescending sympathy and the need to fix them (mary lick). It destroys everyone who sees and everyone who is the show. The only pure observer was miranda. The whole story is meant to punish you as a viewer for buying tickets to the freak show, yet it's so delicious you still come back for more.

    jerry! Jerry!

and we still needed tickets, so we go to iin of course.
