I understand this wholly. In fact I was in this predicament very recently.
All I can say to you is don't make a move on either if you're not sure.
How can it possibly work out if you're not actually attracted to him? There's only so far you can go with talking.
You never know, tomorrow you might fall for a new guy who is everything you want..
But don't rush in to something you'll regret :)
