Is it normal to dislike white music despite being white?

I am white and love all forms of music except when it comes to pop music. I prefer to listen to black music or black American music such as r&b and soul as opposed to classic rock, or country or even rappers who are white. I think black musicians are also better and more creative at their respected instruments than white players but aren't given the credit they deserve.

  • I'm not worried about the fact you dislike pop and like R&B, but about the fact you openly categorize music as 'black' and 'white'.

  • I would have to agree with you there about popular white music. Polka music just isn't for me either.

  • "listen to black music or black American music"...
The blind ignorance in that statement is tremendously both hilarious and genuinely quite sad. But I do have to still agree.
