    Every name you listed I see as male by default. I think the female usage is the exception. I've never met a female Blake or Tanner. Tanner especially would be an awful name for a girl.

      I think Blake sounds female, Blake Lively.
      Tanner is someone who processes leather goods :/

        All the Blakes I know IRL are guys. One of my best friends as a kid was a Blake.
