Actually my sister named all her kids androgynous names (2 boys 2 girls) whereas I named my kids 2 of the most common names that were around at the time. I think its because I really hated my name Ashley from the very beginning. When I was a kid it was predominately a boys name and I think it was one of the factors to why I had a hellish experience at high school. That and the fact there was a lot of cunts at my school.
Two worst names I have ever heard of was an ex hippy calling his kids Lala and Booger...those kids were condemned not to survive high school.
IIN to dislike androgynous names?

I know Ashley and Lindsay used to be boy's names but they do sound feminine. How about Blokesley? AT least you weren't named that.
