I didn't know that "Tanner" could be considered a unisex name. This name seems so masculine.
Names like "Tanner", to me, fall into this trend of giving your kids stupid, terrible, or overused names. These are Caucasian people's ghetto names.
It includes names like:
Jayden
Mason
Traylor (I kid you not)
Bryson
Greyson/Grayson
Taylor
Mckenzie (This is actually a good name, but overused)
Braxlee
Ryder
Ryker
Jaylen/Jaylin
Brook'lynn
Tyce
ETC.
No who named their poor kid Brook'lynn or Traylor?
I personally like names that not everyone has...my daughters name is unusual actually. ..she will never be able to find her name at a gift shop.
I would say my daughters first name but people on here would most likely be able to find her easily via Google search.
I will say she is named after my cousin who died Young a brain tumour ...I took off the first letter of my cousins name and thats the name I gave my daughter....her middle name is after my other cousin who died of drowning.
You named your child after someone you love, that's not thoughtless.
Im talking about people who call their child "Kynnadie" and have no care for the president or family history. They hear it in the park and say "oh that sounds trendy, lets use it but not bother to find out how to spell Kennedy "
its not the gift shop thing, its explaining that your name is in fact "Kaytlinn with a K, a Y and 2 Ns and yes of course Im sure how to spell my own name"...!
IIN to dislike androgynous names?

Lol k
Traylor? Seriously. Hm, and I thought River was a weird name.

Tanner is a dog's name lol.
It really is, my sister in laws dog is named Tanner. Personally I wouldn't even use it on my dog!
