Is it normal to cry during sex?

This has always bugged me. The feeling just comes out of nowhere. Its not bawling or sobbing. But there is a lot of tears kinda and sniffles. But it only happens when im really into the feeling, or about to cum, or during an orgasm.
It happens when i go solo to. I have no clue how to avoid it. But it doesnt bug my significant other at all, but he always makes sure im ok and comfortable.
But why does that happen? Is my brain sending the wrong "messages" to my nerves or what?

    Hmm not really my bf is too big, the first couple times I cried for him to hurry up because it hurt so bad but he got better with making me comfy and preparing me for him because I told him that I wasn't going to keep having sex with him like that it felt like border line rape not enjoyable I'm 5ft he's 6"4' & carrying 13 inches I was not ready but we good now I love it lol
