Yeah, I use to roll my eyes when older people told me things that sounded cliche. But now that I'm older I find myself thinking the exact same way.
The one thing that has helped me most in life has been to not make decisions emotional. Like if your supervisor wants you to do something unfair or he makes you do another employees work. The time to confront him isnt when you're fuming. That was always my issue. Id come at them wrong. Took me years to figure that shit out.
