I'm in my mid 20's, sexually active since 14, and libido goes crazy during my period. Some guys dig it, some don't. Oral I could understand reluctance, but I dream about that too.

I think it's normal to be horny when one is having hormonal times. I'm not into dudes who are squeamish about my period.
My wife has always loved sex on her period. As has been mentioned, it eases cramps and typically hormones are going crazy and some women get especially horny. For those who are saying "gross", damn....man up! It's just blood. Just do what you can to make your lady feel amazing and stop worrying about getting a little blood on you.

You are having a rush of hormones, I think there would be a problem if you didn't get horny during your period.
It's our bodies telling us: now is the time to have sex because chances of pregnancy are lower, and sex will help with cramping (oral is always great but it's penetration that really helps me with cramps). I suggest getting the largest toy you can comfortably handle and answer nature's call.
