Is it normal to buy gifts for my ex to have her back

I know my ex loves me but she had to break up with e because she was confused about somethings that she think breakup is the only solution, now I have been trying my best to advise her but to no avail and now I`m showing her more love by buying her gifts to make her think why I`m doing so to convince her, Is it possible to change anything?

    What you're doing is either going to start creeping her out and she'll stop talking to you or it'll make her see you as nothing but a way to get free stuff. Either way, stop buying her things. It's a waste of money.

    I hate when a guy buys me gifts to get me to be with him. A guy did that to me after I had rejected him and just refused to accept that its not gonna happen, I dont wanna date.
    Also love cant be bought with gifts.
