Is it normal to buy diabetic socks if i’m not diabetic?

I purchased them out of curiosity. I like how soft they are, and when you first buy them, the socks smell minty.

  • They need special socks because elevated blood sugar levels damage the nerves in their feet, this could be enhanced if the normal, binding socks slow blood circulation.

The socks are non-binding, thicker than normal socks, and have anti-bacterial properties.

  • I’m sure their doctor will go over it with them. I know they require frequent foot inspections to make sure everything is functioning fine.

I hope everything is OK with them.

Who doesn't love a soft pair of socks?

Sounds like a good idea. I find cotton socks way too tight, myself.

If you like them, why not? They won't hurt anything.
