There's a big difference between guilt and acknowledging the past. I live in a country (Australia) which was invaded and colonised by white people who dispossessed, massacred and raped the Indigenous people and took many of their children away and in which Indigenous people are still discriminated against in many ways.
I don't feel guilty about that, but I acknowledge that all the amazing good things which benefit me in this country are built on that past colonisation.
Iin to be tired of all the white guilt propaganda?
