I can never understand why white people take all the blame of slavery, What about Hispanics? Portugal and Spain had a large hand in the Atlantic slave trade. Their role in it is completely ignored. Plus, as you stated, not all whites were involved in it and some were themselves slaves. But if you bring it up you'll be called a racist.

And lets not pretend like blacks arent profiled because of the crazy crime rate in black neighborhoods. Gangster rap and sagging pants doesnt help. We are supposed to act like crime doesnt happen and give everyone a fair chance? Nah, if I see a dude with a neck tattoo and sagging pants im not leaving my wallet on the table or leave my door unlocked.
Whiteness Is never a consistent term there was a time that Southern Europeans weren't considered white in the USA but in Latin America it was clear that the Spanish and Portuguese saw themselves as white.
For the most part a lot of Americans think that Latin America is full of brown people (it is for the most part but other races exist to) but they seem to extend that to Southern Europe.
I'm aware that you know this its just crazy that most Americans don't which is odd because there are old people who lived back then who are alive now like my great granny I personally blame the lack of education on the subject.

Additionally Hispanics are not a separate race from Whites, Blacks, Asians and Native Americans, but rather an ethnicity!

Hispanic is not a race, but an ethnicity! Hispanic people can be Black, White, Native American, Asian, or a mix thereof.
