I have the same problem. I'm going on 44 and have never had a boyfriend either because when a guy does show interest in me (which isn't that often) I tense up and head for the nearest exit because of my extreme shyness. I'm not gay but I wouldn't be surprised if family members thought I was since I'm always single. I find it extremely embarrassing. It sucks being me. I hate my loveless life :(
