Is it normal to be spitting up gunk for 15 mins after cleaning teeth?

Wast sure whether to put this in Health or Hygiene. May do both.

For as long as I can remember, I've always found myself spitting up gunk after my oral hygiene routine

This is what mine consists of when I have time to do it properly:

Waterpik
Physical floss
Electric toothbrush on each quadrant (Full 2 minutes on each if time is no object, 1 minutes.on each quadrant if in a rush/especially tired).
Brush roof of mouth, inside of cheeks and inner lips with a soft toothbrush
Tongue scraper
Mouthwash
Tongue scrape

Sometimes, all I might manage is at least a quick once-over with a soft manual toothbrush (30 seconds-1 minute?)

It's extremely frustrating when I'm meant to be going out somewhere and I have to stop to find a sink to spit into constantly.

It's *my* normal, so it seems... But how common or normal is it? Should I be concerned?
