Is it normal to be scared of riding in a car

You must have had a traumatic experience or you read too much about accidents or see them on the news which worsens your fear.

I was in a 🚗 accident once, and for a while if a 🚗 came out fast in front of us I would get really scared. It went away after a while,though.

If my sister was driving I’d be scared shitless.

I had to get pried out of a car by the fire dept after a violent crash on the highway. Sometimes I get freaked out in cars now too. Cars are a risky way to travel.

well if there is a desease for it that most people don't have then of course its not normal but i can see how you could be scared.
