Well they’re probably looking at you wondering what your dang problem is if that’s the reaction you give them.
I am scared of wild monkeys when I came across ones in real life. They just act so human-like and while this part is not scary, they remind me of mischievous kids during my school years.
Or the fact that most have the strength to rip your face off and zero warning of the fact that they can rip your face off
Did you see the videos of monkeys in temples in Thailand going crazy, during the quarantine in springtime? The monkeys were used to getting food handouts from pilgrims, and tourists, but because there were no people the temple monkeys, and street monkeys practically went to war with each other. I saw a video of monkeys literally going apeshit over one little cup of yogurt.
Nope, because when you say animals it's very general, nonspecific. For instance, when a cat you should feel a sense of awe at beholding a creature that's most likely superior to yourself.
Most black ppl are scared of dogs I've noticed. You can have a little shitsue and they black ppl will run screaming
It depends on the animal. Some are dangerous and some are not. Also some people will be afraid of a particular type of animal because of a bad experience they had.
If you are afraid of literally all animals then I would say this isn't normal.
I think it's normal. Some people are, and there's usually a good reason for it, especially with wild animals or those with the capacity to easily hurt you. I say this as an animal lover and equestrian, myself.
For some people, the fact that they can't really communicate with animals in the same way they can humans can unsettle them because they don't really know what the animal is thinking or what it will do.
I love pet-type animals such as cats and dogs, and also horses, but am scared of a lot of wild animals, as well as poorly trained and ill behaved domesticated ones. I don't like big dogs jumping on me, lunging at me, or baring their teeth and snarling, and I don't like horses that have been allowed to become extremely pushy or are unpredictable to the point of being dangerous. I will not have anything to do with one that rears (much less flips), bolts, bites (and I don't mean nip, I mean tries to take a chunk out of you), bulldozes you over as if you aren't there, etc. It is too easy to get seriously injured to put up with that behavior or be around it, IMO.
Not normal above the age of about 8. You are an adult, it is pathetic and makes you look ridiculous in public.
Yeah I got to agree with this. Its ok to be creeped out by a specific animal group as you can just label it as a phobia and people would kinda understand it.
I dislike being underwater with fish. Not because I'm fearful that I can be eaten or attacked but just that most dont have a way to face you or let you know what direction they are looking (practically the lack of a neck is kinda lowkey disturbing for me)
I know I'm 17 and I know I shouldn't really be scared, but its just they scare me when they try to attack.
