It’s a perpetuation of the privileged property class. They’re parasites that live off the commoners, who pay some of the highest taxes in the world to support them.
I’m aware, it’s watching another part of my grandparents’ generation die and seeing another woman lose the partner she’s spent most of her adult life with that’s upset me.

That’s very true. My mother lost my stepdad after 58 years, and it’s sad, even though I couldn’t stand him.
