Sure but that's what people mean when they say "let it go, move on." You don't "own" him (figuratively) in any sense at all is what you have to constantly remind yourself of. It takes a while for our thoughts & emotions - all so committed to and involved in that person 24/7 for years - to get used to that.
Not only do you not own him, you tossed him for good reason and so have no reason to envy or be jealous of anyone. Its a cliche to say you are better off without him - but honestly - he cheats on you? Then the day after it ends goes after your friend. What a shallow cad!
Anyway - it takes time for the mind & body to get used to a new reality: and you just have to remind yourself of what this is really about here and now (he's not yours to worry about): and not think as if things are as they where.
