I feel irritated when people thank me for something they've asked me to do.
I.d.k I just feel like they should
thank me for the stuff I do out of my own kindness and not the stuff I feel obligated to do.
e.g: family members asking me to do the dishes and then thanking me afterwards.
It's a favor you idiot. Of course they should thank you. It would be rude not to.
if you hate it when people say thank you for stuff that you do when they ask you to, then just say no. problem solved. you may make more enemys or drama that way, but problem solved.
(p.s. learn how to appreciate their kind gesture of saying thank you when they are not obligated to.)
they're just being nice & thanking you for favors. i don't find that annoying at all.
Not normal but I'm just the same way. Good to know I'm not the only one, lol.
But I don't respond to them with negative responses tho.

someone asks you for a favour to do something. Even though you did it and the person didn't show any courtesy or thank you, you will feel annoyed.
you obviously want to help them out other wise you would say no and not do it. so really they are thanking ou for being kind and doing it.
