I'm an 18 year old guy in highschool. I found out I was gay my freshman year and I feel in love with a teacher the second I met him. He is 37 so a good bit older than me and ivefelt this way thought all of my highschool career. I play guitar with him after school each day and me and him each and every day. He has a wife and two children and isn't in the best shape but I don't see any of that, I see an amazing and caring person, is this normal

    I think it's normal to have crushes on teacher, but that dosnt mean to say it's right.

    If you were at least 21, he wasn't your teacher, was single and was also gay, I'd say you could totally act on it BUT he's your teacher, he's married to a woman, has children and you're still in your teens. You can't act on it but it IS normal to have a crush.

    Its normal to have crushes but just don't delude yourself with the thoughts that you guys will some day end up together. He has a family, he is much older, and he is an authority figure. You will most likely remain in a teacher/student relationship. That's how it should be.
