Is it normal to be excited about my first gray hair?

Today I was about to take a shower. I was putting my hair into a bun. Suddenly, I noticed a gray hair on top of my head. At first, I thought it was a piece of string or just conditioner, but I pulled on it some and it is still attached to my head. I also wet it to see if the gray color would stay. It ended up being that this is a real gray hair, even though I am only 20 years old. Is it strange that I was so happy when I discovered this?

    I used to tweeze the white hairs from my head, but now they're far too numerous. Once they start they don't stop.
