Wow...I didn't know that so many people make fun of Sweden.I had been thinking about maybe going there for a trip if I have enough time.
You shouldn't be embarrassed of your own nationality. You should be proud of it since it makes you special :)
And people won't laugh at you for being Swedish, at least I won't. Honestly during daily lives, nationality really doesn't matter. Will you stop being someone's friends because he/she came from another country? I won't...
